In October & November we wrote 600+ postcards to Wilson County residents asking them to get registered to vote. We will now be following up to see if our postcards were received, if they had any issue getting registered, and letting them know important upcoming election dates.

We want to know what local issues matter to you the most this election season!
We are trying to reach people in Wilson County who we haven’t spoken with recently, who are newly interested in politics, or who are not really interested in politics and want to share their thoughts on what issues need to be addressed locally.
If you or anyone you know is interested in dropping in to our first stop on the Listening Tour, we will be at Working Man Winery in Lebanon from 6 to 8 p.m. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

WCDW & WCDP Donate to the Mt. Juliet Help Center
For the months of November and December we collected non-perishable items in conjunction with the Wilson County Democratic Party. We would like to keep this as an ongoing event and make donations across the county throughout the year! If you'd like to contribute goods, please bring them to the next WCDW or WCDP meeting or event!
This month will be an important discussion about the Wilson County Democratic Women’s roadmap for 2024. Your input and ideas are crucial as we chart the course for the year ahead. Join us Tuesday, January 9th at 6pm at Cumberland University to contribute to the conversation and help shape the future of democratic organizing in Wilson County.
Anyone who has Democratically aligned political beliefs is welcome to attend, so bring a friend, neighbor, or spouse!

WCDW Bake Sale Fundraiser
With the help of our amazing WCDW bakers, we raised over $800 for Wilson County voter outreach/education projects & to help support Wilson County Democratic candidates running in 2024.
This month we will explain how to become a member, talk about our committees & discuss December officer elections.
We will be finalizing plans for our November Bake Sale Fundraiser & plans for December!

We were proud to support the WCBHC's ongoing restoration of the deeply historical Pickett Chapel all while honoring the legacy of Wilson County's Black Educators.
We had an amazing night of dancing to the music of Regi Wooten, delicious food, and meeting so many new friends in the community.
